Do you want to know how we feel about Techland?
July 22, 2009:
COJ 2 has been released. We played the single player on HARD and won. Multiplayer is working, but it is crap. It's crashing all the time.
Dedicated server and map editor was not even on DVD. We won't put up the server until the dedicated server is released.
Techland, we are not your competition, we are more like friends, can you understand that?

June 17, 2009: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
If you previously added Techland IP addresses to your hosts
file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (See this News archive link),
you MUST remove them now, because those IP addresses are no longer valid.
This may be the cause, some of you can't connect to multiplayer servers.

There have been over 100 downloads of patch 1001 for Call of Juarez 1.0 in 7 days! Nice :)

New patch 1001 for Call of Juarez 1.0! has been released. This is the best one ever! New features include:
- Automatic download of missing maps
- Update button on main menu
- Sniper zoom
This patch is intended for COJ 1.0 version and will keep you game updated with new features as they are released. You will still be able to join other 1.0 servers!
Do not install this patch on COJ 1.1!
If you want your COJ 1.0 server to have download maps capability, you must also have this patch installed.
You must also set the download address in ServerSettings.scr in field "DownloadMapsURL()"

Sniper patch for COJ 1.0 has been released! It is a patch with setup program that will automatically
install sniper patch that will allow you to see sniper zoom for other players that have this patch also installed.

Dont worry, this patch will work even if you have your game cracked.
July 1, 2008:
Techland.pl domain is back online. When you experience similar problems in the future, first
try to ping techland.pl (Start | Run | Cmd | Ping techland.pl). If domain is not found, then the below solution should still apply. (They probably forgot to renew the domain subscription :))
June 30, 2008: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
There is a problem with Techland.pl domain that prevents you from connecting to Coolserver.si or any other server for that matter. To overcome this problem, here is what you must do:
Open file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts with Wordpad and add this lines to the end of the file:
62.141.58.165 authserver2.techland.pl
193.218.155.62 authserver.techland.pl
193.218.155.62 gamelistserver.techland.pl
217.11.138.4 authserver1.techland.pl
217.11.148.24 masterserver.techland.pl
The file "hosts" should now look like this (only note lines that have techland in them). See the sample picture below:
When done, save file and restart computer!
This change will override DNS lookups for techland.pl domain and will connect directly to Techland's IP addresses

New program COJ COntroller is available for admins to control COJ dedicated servers. This is beta release, so changes will follow. Current version is for now only available for Coolserver.si admins and supports the following features:
